The first time I ever laid eyes on you, Canada, was that weekend trip I took to Vancouver, all those years ago. Wow. You sure laid it on thick with that one. I couldn't get you out of my head.

The second time, I went to visit a friend from London who was living and working for the CBC in Toronto. Like with most sophmore efforts, I was non-plussed. I'd also been living in New York for only a few short months, so you'd have had to offer me pretty much a non-stop marathon orgy to get my attention away from my new beau.

And now, almost exactly four years later, I'm off to Montreal, after years of promising myself I'd see you again. I hear you're going to be quite tempting this time.

Apartment hunting in New York

Sweet unholy *&$*&!. Sometimes I hate this city. Especially when it comes to the issue of housing. I am yet again looking for a place to live, and everything's either a dump, tiny, or in Bensonhurst. Plus I am super-wary after the last string of roommates who seemed fine when I moved in, whose mental issues slowly surfaced over time.

If only I could afford living alone.
