The End

It's a time of change for the subway subversive.

I've decided, for a multitude of reasons, to move out of New York.

I'm not the only one making this decision of late. But this is not about doing what everyone else is doing. Life here has become too much compromise for too little reward. For a city that's supposed to be rife with possibilities, fairly few seem open, at least in this current economy and job market. So I'm leaving, to finish my education and get a real job and pay off my debts, somewhere where the cost of living is a hell of a lot more reasonable. Then maybe I can live in New York on my own terms - no more g*damned roommates, no more insane amounts of stress.

It's better that I leave now so my love of this city doesn't completely turn into hatred. For the next month, I plan to do all the things I haven't done for the last five years because I never could find the time or the money - Ellis Island, Broadway, museums.

This is also going the be the end of SubwaySubversive. I might start a new project when I get where I'm going, because the words and voices never go quiet. And I still got something to say.

Voting fraud is felony, no?

Proof is starting to emerge that the 2004 election was stolen. Diebold, the company in question, delivered the no-paper-trail voting machines that were used in Ohio, Florida, and New Mexico. A four percent across the board fraud "padding" was less than the margin of the "mandate." Diebold's president is a big Republican donor. Awake yet?
