Now I can say I'm a post-op (hot tranny mess)
So I'm unemployed again. I will say nothing here about what happened, for legal reasons.
But that gives me a boatload of time on my hands. I am not hurting for money at the moment, so I'm actually somewhat relaxed, since I don't have to rush around trying to find a job tomorrow. Plus, there's a recession on, so no use bashing my head against the wall right now.
I will unfortunately have to move to a place with cheaper rent. It's a shame, since my roommate is never around. I moved in and 12 days later he went out of town for almost 3 months. He came back for 5 days, and then left again without telling me. I think it's been 3 weeks this time. But he's crazy loud when he's in town, and the most anal roommate I've ever had.
Oh, to find a studio for 750 a month. Doesn't exist, alas.
I also left work the week before I had hernia repair surgery. A word to the wise. It f'ing hurts. More pain after the surgery, but at least I won't have a time bomb of gangrene in my guts. Coughing and then having to scream while on percocet was interesting.
This time, however, I will do my darnedest to stay in New York. If I can manage to pull $5k out of my nethers, I'll be going back to school to finish my degree. Hopefully in the fall. We'll see.
